Warehouse Assistants – 3 Positions Available

Job Summary

• Warehousing, Storage & Distribution (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
• Full time
• $34 – $35 per hour

Immediate Start | Monday to Friday Shifts

• 2 Positions: 6.00 AM to 2.00 PM plus regular overtime
• 1 Position: 8.00 AM to 4.00 PM plus regular overtime

Key Responsibilities for 6.00am to 2.00pm Shift:

• Loading & Unloading: Safely loading, securing, and unloading goods, which may involve lifting heavy items.
• Customer Service: Acting as the face of the company by delivering items professionally, obtaining signatures, and completing delivery docket / POD process via electronic platform
• Route Planning: Determining the most efficient routes to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining delivery logs, checking invoices, and reporting any vehicle maintenance needs.

Key Responsibilities for 8.00am to 4.00pm Shift:

• Order Fulfilment: Locate, pick, and scan items from shelves, racking, or bins based on picking slips or electronic orders.
• Packing and Shipping: Pack items securely, apply labels, and prepare orders for shipping or transport.
• Inventory Management: Update inventory systems using barcode scanners, conduct stock counts, and ensure stock accuracy.
• Safety and Maintenance: Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and keep the workspace clean and organized.
• Efficiency: Meet daily productivity targets and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Physical Strength: Ability to lift, push, and pull packages, sometimes up to 20-30kg.
• Time Management: Ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with customers.
• Reliability: Dependable, punctual, daily.
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy in picking the correct items and quantities.
• Technical Literacy: Experience with handheld scanners (RF guns) and basic inventory software.
• Reliability: Dependable, punctual, daily.
• Forklift licenses (LF/LO) or experience with Electric Pallet Trucks (EPT) are highly desirable.
